Mohamed Bin Zayed initiative to reserve the Wild Birds

Isa non-profit initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in 2018. It seeks to preserve the environment and wildlife, while sustaining the national and global cultural heritage associated with wild birds by providing grants for research and scientific projects. Specializing at local and international levels to preserve birds of prey, it supports projects to preserve the sport of falconry in its traditional form in areas where it has been practiced since ancient times.

Falconry Archive in the Middle East

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, launched an initiative to create a falconry archive in the Middle East, as part of the UAE's strategy to preserve cultural heritage in the Arab region and the world. The archive was created to document, preserve and revive the interest in ancient historical writings on Arab falconry to raise awareness of this heritage and for the purposes of scientific research. The archive includes 13 original copies of ancient manuscripts of falconry from around the world.

Mohamed Bin Zayed School for Falconry and Desert Physiognomy

HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Dhafra Region and President of the Emirates Falconers Club, announced the establishment of the Mohammed Bin Zayed School for Falconry and Desert Physiognomy in December 2013 to increase the awareness of the value of falconry as a heritage and human art, both locally and internationally. It also provides a cultural and cultural base for the sport in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Arabian Saluki Center

The Arabian Saluki Center was established in 2001, with the support of the Emirates Falconers Club. It is the first of its kind in the Arabian Gulf and Middle East to revive and promote the desert tradition of hunting with saluki dogs. The center provides care and specialized services to owners and their saluki dogs, as well as providing the best breeds of Arab hunting dogs for those who wish to acquire them. It also preserves the customs and traditions associated with heritage hunting in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
