Competition terms and criteria

• The photos should be submitted only by uploading them via the we-transfer link and sending them via the e-mail specified in the competition.
• Photos participating in the competition must be submitted only during the exhibition days.
• Admission starts from 11 am on 2 September to 12 pm on 10 September 2023.
• A series of images can be presented, embodying the activities of ADIHEX with its various features, from Arena and falcon platforms, the Arabian Saluki Beauty Contest, falcon auction, horse auction, camel auction, heritage arts and crafts sector.
• The number of images allowed to participate in the competition is a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 images.
• Images provided must be jpeg or JPG format, with high quality and resolution, and the image size should not be less than 5 MB, the longest side of the image must not be less than 2000 pixels and the quality should not be less than 300 dpi, and the images must be suitable for publication - The original image must be uploaded.
• Participating photos should not contain any logos/signatures/names/ frames/ borders/symbols/or any signs/date/timing/or any other marks that the participant may add.
• Advanced modifications used to add tricks and/or optical tricks and/or manipulations are prohibited.
• Any images that represent or contain any inappropriate/offensive content, including violence and/or other content deemed incompatible with the UAE’s public morals, religious and cultural customs, and traditions, will be excluded.
• Any photo that does not comply with the above will be automatically excluded from the competition without any additional notice.
• The participating photos will be owned by the Emirates Falconers Club.
• The participating image must be for the contestant, not from any other source.

Competition Objectives

• Provide a platform to support and embrace creators of photography/video from different categories, as well as motivate and attract amateurs, and ensure that visitors share the photos they took during ADIHEX.
• Support intergenerational communication, preserve and protect ancestral heritage by presenting a vivid artistic image of the activities and features, encourage visitors of different nationalities to preserve local heritage, contribute to documenting wildlife and the desert environment, and highlighting the position and global leadership of ADIHEX.
• Highlight the creativity of young generation in arts, their innovative view of their life themes, and their live and positive interaction with major events and features, with the aim of preserving and documenting them through images for future generations.
