Abu Dhabi, 31 January 2021-

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) affirms the global leadership of the United Arab Emirates in the sport of falconry, and its role in maintaining its presence and passing it from generation to another. It also aims to strengthen the efforts in preserving falconry as a human heritage, while ensuring that natural balance and preservation of species are achieved by implementing sustainable hunting.

The Falconry Sector, including manufacturing and designing falconry equipment, adds great value to the upcoming edition of ADIHEX.  It is the most prominent feature that the visitors await every year since the first edition in 2003. It became one of the major attractions and a key factor in the exhibition’s success throughout the years.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the 18th edition of the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition will be organized by the Emirates Falconers’ Club from the 27th of September to the 3rd of October 2021, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Exhibitors in the falconry sector achieved remarkable increase in their sales by meeting with VIPS interested in the sport of falconry, as well as industry leaders and marketing experts.

They have also made successful deals and partnerships with the most reputable local agents and distributors. This allows them to market their falconry farms as well as various traditional and modern falconry tools and equipment.

His Excellency Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee and Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, has stated that the main  factor of the success of  Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition at both regional and global levels, is the endless support provided by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as the substantial efforts in preserving heritage made by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Further, continued oversight has been provided by the exhibition’s patron, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club. Throughout its history, the exhibition has demonstrated strong success in attracting worldwide attention to the UAE capital, bolstering its aim to promote sustainable hunting and preserve heritage.

His Excellency added that the ADIHEX has a special standing as a unique exhibition in the world. This is reflected in its aims to preserve the heritage of falconry as well as the environment, and to promote sustainable and balanced hunting under international regulations and agreements. As a result of these admirable ambitions, the exhibition attains international participation from organisations and institutions that are concerned with the promotion of hunting sports and species conservation.

Abu Dhabi: An attractive destination for falconers from all over the world
