Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) attracts wide participation of painters and artists

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) attracts painters, artists, photographers, calligraphers and sculptors as well as art galleries from inside and outside the UAE, who have been presenting their creativity with high craftsmanship that expresses various artistic schools, including realistic, abstract and modern ones. Their topics revolve around desert and marine environment, authentic heritage, and hunting along with its matters, concerns, and various types. 

The upcoming 19th edition of ADIHEX is organized by Emirates Falconers' Club from 26 September to 2 October 2022. Its official sponsors are the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, International Fund for Houbara Conservation, and Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre where the event is being held. Moreover, the sponsor of "Hunting Guns" sector is Caracal International LLC, the visitor experience partner is POLARIS-Specialized Sports Equipment, the features sponsors are Smart Design and the Royal Tent Company, the official Automotive partner is ARB Emirates, while the supportive partner is the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

To ensure the success of the participation of dozens of artists, and meet their logistical, marketing and promotional requirements in a way befitting their distinguished creations, the management of ADIHEX has announced the conditions for participating in the "Painting and Photography" section of the "Arts and Crafts" sector, primarily that all artworks of participants should reflect the theme of ADIHEX, “Sustainability and heritage…a reborn aspiration”. Participating artworks must also highlight the cultural message of ADIHEX and art, and contribute to raising awareness about the significance of protecting the environment, preserving species and conserving cultural heritage. ADIHEX welcomes the artists to actively participate in its features and events by presenting seminars, workshops, and any other activity or initiative they wish to present.  

All artworks are subject to a prior approval from the Organizing Committee before they are displayed inside the participating artists’ stands. Furthermore, the Qualifying Committee for sorting out the participating artworks has the right to reject any work that is not consistent with the nature and objectives of the event. In addition, the ADIHEX Management has the right to print the participating artworks in any publications issued by it, and to promote them in such a manner it deems appropriate. 

All artists must provide an overview of their biography and artistic history, and a brief introduction about each work (title, size, used raw material, price and year of production). The art galleries displaying works of several artists are also required to write the name of each artist on his/her own work, with a brief introduction for each painting. Moreover, the price of each artwork displayed for sale must be clearly visible inside the pavilion.

ADIHEX Management stated that the last date for accepting the participation applications from the artists shall be August 31, 2022, where they must send copies of their artworks (whether paintings, photographs, models or sculptures) to the exhibition management before August 24, 2022 by email (info@adihex.com), even if the artworks are not yet complete. Then, the Qualifying Committee will contact the artists regarding the approved artworks for participation in ADIHEX by September 07, 2022 at the latest.

The Higher Organizing Committee of ADIHEX is keen that art is present at such a global forum that brings together creators from various continents. The "Arts and Crafts" sector constitutes a very important artistic platform for displaying the products of an elite of Emirati, Arab and foreign artists, and a real opportunity for them to connect with lovers of arts related to cultural heritage and human civilization

It also serves arts and create platforms for artists to improve, innovate and present their experiences, As a result, this strengthens the cultural diversity and increases the beauty of the visual and artistic dimension of each site at the event.

Furthermore, the artworks represent part of the artists’ contemporary experiences and reflect their various schools, as well as their rich cultural and artistic experiences that make the sector a unique painting that attracts many visitors.
